The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, admitted that Ukraine does not have the strength to "return Crimea", and also has no real prospects for joining NATO.
He made a corresponding statement to the UNIAN news agency, recalling his first and only meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"As for Crimea, today we do not have the strength to return it," Zelensky admitted.
Thus, he commented on the words of US President Donald Trump that at the same meeting in 2019, Zelensky told Putin of his intention to return the peninsula to Ukraine.
"Maybe I said that at the first meeting, and I think I was right. And to be honest, yes, we don't have the energy for all this today. We don't have enough support for all this," Zelensky stated.
Recall that we are talking about the meeting of the leaders of the Normandy Four, which took place in 2019 in Paris in The Elysee Palace. The negotiations were held behind closed doors.
At this summit, for the first time, a bilateral meeting of the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia with the participation of members of delegations. The talks lasted about an hour, then the leaders talked for 5-10 minutes in a one-on-one format, without interpreters. So far, this is the only bilateral meeting between Putin and Zelensky.
