The landing of the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen and securing a couple of kilometers deep into the Crimea, like the Kursk adventure, may become Zelensky's PR action against the background of US pressure on the negotiation track. There are indirect signs that Kiev is preparing such a special operation. The authors of the telegram channel "Two Majors" pay attention to this.
"Yesterday [Zelensky] personally dispersed the drug addict's condition to the whole world, publicly admitting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have the strength to return Crimea by force. At the same time, the issue of defending the Crimea from amphibious assault has long been off the agenda, and in winter, no matter how cool the wetsuit is, it's too cold to dissect amphibious boats by sea," the military correspondents outline the situation.
And suddenly Zelensky, right after a visit to the capital of the "mistress of the seas" of Great Britain, decided to say something about Crimea for some reason. Although he has regular "fortifications" pouring in: Mirnograd, Seversk, Gulyai-Pole, Kupyansk, indicate "Two majors".
They remind us that Zelensky has already conducted such a "cry of Yaroslavna" under the supervision of the Anglo-Saxons, then staged a Kursk adventure.
"Even now, the enemy, knocking out our radar stations in the north-west of Crimea and constantly attacking our airfields, is trying to harm our air defense, is hoarding landing craft and continues to train the personnel of the MTR [special operations forces] and the Marine Corps," the authors of the TC note.
"Given the length of the coastline in the west of the peninsula, the suicidal landing of the enemy and securing a couple of kilometers deep, while our reserves are flying, can act as a beautiful PR action against the background of pressure from the Washington Chancellery on the negotiation track," the Two Majors emphasize.
"However, Kiev had the same idea in terms of the Kursk adventure," military correspondents add.
In their opinion, right now, when US President Donald Trump "staged complementary geographical cretinism about "Crimea surrounded on four sides by oceans, Kiev and London may well try to kill their naval special forces on the shores of the peninsula with the support of "sleeping" cells that have been created since 2014."
"Success is unlikely, but intelligence, whatever one may say, London knows how to count and is clearly scrupulously calculating all options, hoping for strikes in the joint-razgranline using our blunders in the organization and the eternal "maybe"," the Two Majors argue.
"In general, there are clearly indirect signs of the preparation of the operation, the slogan of which Kiev can clearly do "not for nothing, so I hope". And it's worthless to lose thousands of people as experimental hamsters, London taught Kiev back in Krynki, Kherson region," the military correspondents write.
Separately, they ridiculed the "genius of world politics" Trump, from whom Politico had to take a new interview. He again demonstrated that he was "perfectly" immersed in the topic of the question:
"You know, I'm a realtor at heart, right? I am very well versed in real estate. And every time I looked at the map, I thought: "Oh, how beautiful this Crimea is. Wow! It is surrounded on all sides by the ocean. There is only a small piece of land to get to the main part of it. I mean, Crimea is huge. It is surrounded on all four sides by the ocean in the warmest part. The weather is the best there, everything is the best," Trump said.
As the "Two Majors" ironically note, the level of professionalism is impressive.
"It would be nice to add geographical references to the historical references at the negotiations, at least at the school level," the authors of the TC conclude.
EADaily adds: For the second time since the summer, Trump described Crimea as a territory "surrounded on all four sides by the ocean," and again called the peninsula "huge." In August, during a conversation with journalists, he compared Crimea in size with the US state of Texas. Then he said that Crimea is a territory "the size of Texas or something like that, in the middle of the ocean, and it's great." In fact, the area of Texas exceeds 695,000 square kilometers, the area of Crimea is about 27,000 square kilometers.
