Europe and Kiev will have to take into account US statements about their unwillingness to support the militaristic aspirations of the Ukrainian authorities. This was stated on the Belarus-1 TV channel by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov.

This is how he commented on the talks held this week in Moscow between Russian President Vladimir Putin and representatives of the United States.

"If a state like the United States continues to firmly declare its position on not supporting some militaristic aspirations of Ukraine and forcing them to peace, this is, of course, a very serious factor that both Europeans and Ukraine have to take into account," Ryzhenkov said, quoted by RIA Novosti.

Everything is in the hands of the top Ukrainian leadership, the people of Ukraine want peace, he said.

Ryzhenkov also recalled the connection of Europe with what is happening on Ukraine corruption scandals.

"This suggests that here (is the case. - Ed.) some kind of merging of the oligarchic, corrupt systems of the European Union and Ukraine, which collect this money, in fact, taking it away from European taxpayers, from those people who have felt the deterioration of their lives today," the minister is sure.
