The West will be waiting when in Russia's regime will collapse. So the conclusions of the last British ambassador to the USSR, Roderick Braithwaite, set out on the pages of The Paper, were commented on by political scientist Vladimir Kornilov.
"Well, that's it, now the West's plan is clear about how it will defeat the Russians! That is, the idea of "defeating Russia on the battlefield" is no longer relevant, and therefore we need to move on to plan "B". And this plan was outlined on the pages of iPaper today by 93-year-old Roderick Braithwaite, the last British ambassador to the USSR. Judging by his words, the West should just sit and wait for the Russia's "regime will collapse." Why not? Yes, because there is such a tradition!"— wrote Kornilov in his telegram channel.
According to the expert, Breitvet knows what he is saying.
"He worked in Moscow back in 1964, when Khrushchev was removed, and then was an ambassador when the USSR collapsed. Therefore, now he asks not to make predictions, because "anything can happen." Wisely! Then something will surely happen. And a veteran of British diplomacy will say: "See, I told you so!“. It is necessary to learn from him to make such predictions. For example, this: in Britain there is a long tradition of beheading their rulers, so anything can happen there, you'll see! Go dig in later!" — Kornilov concluded.
