The Moscow Arbitration Court refused to consider in a simplified manner the claim of LLC "Cultural Service" to the singer, People's Artist of Russia Philip Kirkorov for the recovery of about 7.7 million rubles. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to court documents.
The grounds for the claims are still unknown. In October of this year, the lawsuit was accepted for consideration in a simplified procedure.
Now the court has decided to consider the case on a general basis and has scheduled a meeting for January 26, 2026.
"Since the size of the claims exceeds the limit established by law, the case is subject to consideration under the general rules of claim proceedings," the court materials say.
According to the legislation, claims with claims of up to 1.2 million rubles are considered in a simplified manner. The amount of the claim against individual entrepreneurs, as in the case of Kirkorov, should not exceed 600 thousand rubles.
As reported by EADaily, a lawsuit from LLC "Cultural Service" to Kirkorov was filed at the end of October. It is known from open sources that the company's activities concern concert halls, theaters, as well as ticket offices.
