The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, is obsessed with seeking revenge on Moscow for historical grievances. This was stated in the social network by the Irish journalist Brian McDonald.
So he commented on the introduction of additional visa restrictions The EU is for Russian citizens.
"Callas knows that this is a strategic own goal, but she is so absorbed in finding spectacular retribution for historical grievances that she doesn't care. She is also well aware that in recent years Moscow has softened the entry rules for EU citizens to show one simple thing: this time the West is erecting a new iron curtain," writes McDonald, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Measures of this kind in relation to Russia create the impression that "the EU is a shattered association in decline and isolating itself from the world," the journalist added.
As EADaily reported, speaking about a trip to the European Union as a privilege, the head of the European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, was referring to millions of illegal migrants. This was stated in her telegram channel by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
So she commented on the passage of Callas that "a trip to the European Union is a privilege, not a given."
