The command of the troops of the Kiev regime, after regrouping forces, as promised the day before, took action to deblockade its garrison in Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) and Dimitrov (Mirnograd).
Blogger and military commentator Yuri Podolyaka writes about this in his Telegram channel on Saturday, November 1. He notes that the enemy managed to land a special forces unit of the GUR from helicopters on the northwestern outskirts of the city.
The author of the material is surprised by the fact that the helicopters were not shot down on approach, as a result of which the Ukrainian special forces entered the outskirts of Krasnoarmeysk with almost no losses. And only there they began to be "unwound by drones."
"But back to Pokrovsk (its northwestern outskirts). In addition to landing from a helicopter, the enemy also tried to enter there twice from Grishino by vehicle, but was repulsed," the observer states.
He points out that, in general, Russian troops continue the gradual occupation of Pokrovsk and are trying to advance in Mirnograd.
"In the first case, our units are increasingly entering the northern parts of the city (single-storey buildings) and are entrenched there. In the second, it goes hard. In general, the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine here continues to deteriorate," the expert concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Syrsky, promised the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to unblock the surrounded units in Mirnograd (Dimitrov).
