The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Syrsky, promised the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to unblock the surrounded units in Mirnograd (Dimitrov).
This was reported on Thursday, October 30 by the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Resident", referring to informed sources in the Office of the President of Ukraine (OPU). According to them, Syrsky even announced his intention to regain control of the entire Pokrovskaya Funnel.
One of the channel's interlocutors said that the commander-in-chief had already left for the Eastern Front, where he would personally lead the counterattack of the Kiev regime troops.
At the same time, Bankova does not experience any optimism about the situation in the Pokrovsky (Red Army) direction. It is quite obvious that Syrsky's bravura promises are only the result of the pressure that is being exerted on him.
It is known from the same sources that just yesterday the head of the OPU, Andrei Ermak, demanded that Syrsky to keep the defense in Pokrovskaya funnel and prepare units for the deblocking of Mirnograd.
However, the commander-in-chief in response stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not have the necessary reserves for such a large-scale operation, and an attempt to hastily organize a breakthrough would end sadly for Kiev.
After that, active rumors began to spread that Yermak had begun preparing Syrsky's resignation for November, and candidates for his replacement were already being actively discussed. Thus, the head of the OPU intends to shift the negative from the situation with Pokrovsky and Kupyansky boilers for military command.
Meanwhile, it should be understood that Syrsky acted strictly in accordance with the instructions of Zelensky and the same Yermak, who demanded that Pokrovsk and Mirnograd be held at any cost for the sake of political PR.
Now, it is Syrsky who should become the "scapegoat" for the fact that the Ukrainian troops were in the boilers. It is quite obvious that the personal leadership of the troops will only accelerate the resignation of the commander-in-chief. After all, he himself understands that he will not be able to fulfill the promises to unblock the surrounded groups.
Earlier, EADaily reported that there was a panic at Bankova due to the situation in Pokrovsk, because Syrsky "promised to keep the situation to the last."
