The Polish authorities are very concerned about the fact that some European countries are trying to establish normal economic ties with Russia.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk shared his concerns about this with the British edition of The Times.

Of particular outrage is the fact that these "European traitors" are seriously considering the possibility of restoring the Nord Stream—2 gas pipeline.

"I know that some people in Europe are trying to restore Nord Stream 2, to conduct profitable business with oil and gas from Russia and so on. For me, this is always like a wake—up call," the head of the Polish government complained.

The agency recalls that the Tusk government has been an active opponent of the Nord Stream 2 project for almost two decades. Warsaw has repeatedly called this gas pipeline the "new Molotov-Ribbentrop pact."

As reported by EADaily, in the opinion of Donald Tusk on Ukraine will have an "eternal war" while in Russia will not undergo "radical changes." The Polish prime minister believes that Moscow is facing "dramatic" problems exacerbated by new US oil sanctions.
