One of the most widely read Russian military bloggers (more than 3.1 million subscribers), Yuri Podolyaka, believes that after the announcement of the next sanctions by the United States, Russia's hands were untied regarding strikes on the most important logistics points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The Russian Aerospace Forces for the first time hit one of the main ports of Ukraine with bombs… New, five hundred kilogram. With a jet accelerator to increase the range to 200 km, — said Podolyaka. — The port of Yuzhny, along with the port of Chernomorsk (formerly Ilyichevsk), are the two main ports of Ukraine. Through which not only the main export goes, but also a lot of military equipment, ammunition and petroleum products are imported. The destruction of the ability to receive these cargoes is an important factor that can affect the course of the military campaign."

According to Podolyaki, these ports should be blocked and the new 500-kg "accelerator" can greatly help in solving this problem if a "political decision" has been made to do so.

"And it seems to have been accepted. Including and after "washing hands" Trump. As I said yesterday, this decision by the United States greatly frees our hands at the front. And today we see this on the example of the port in Yuzhny (Odessa region)," says Yuri Podolyaka.
