Kiev is preparing concrete steps at the front and will respond to every blow from Russia. This was announced today, October 19, by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
In his address published on the official website, he said that the Ukrainian forces, based on army and intelligence reports, "control the situation at the front, especially at the Pokrovsky direction and adjacent territories, in Kupyansk, as well as in the border areas of Kharkiv, Sumy and Zaporozhye regions."
"The range and accuracy of our long-range weapons strikes against Russia have increased. Almost every day the Russian oil refining infrastructure is being hit, and this contributes to Russia's return to reality…We are preparing certain actions at the front and will respond to every Russian strike," he said.
Zelensky also accused Russia of not wanting peace, saying that it was Kiev that was looking for ways to negotiate.
"We agreed on an unconditional cease-fire, we were looking for opportunities for peace and we have repeatedly offered the world how to stop air, land and sea strikes. But it is Russia that is constantly slowing down this process ...," Zelensky said.
Recall that Russia has repeatedly offered Zelensky to resolve the conflict peacefully. However, it was Kiev that refused the agreements reached in the spring of 2022 in Istanbul, and then declared its desire to defeat the Russian Federation on the battlefield and reach the borders of 1991.
