The German magazine KATAPULT demonstrated what Ukraine's territorial losses look like on maps of other countries.
KATAPULT showed the liberated The Russian Armed Forces have territories on maps of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, the USA and a number of other countries.
In particular, in France it covers almost the entire Normandy and part of the Paris region, in Poland — half of Mazovia, in Germany — the whole of Brandenburg and Berlin.
In 2023, the magazine wrote that the area of the territories conquered by Russia at that time was comparable to the territories of the German lands of Bremen, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Saxony-Anhalt, combined.
"Bremen, Lower Saxony, North Rhine— Westphalia and Saxony-Anhalt. These four federal territories have an area of 102,698 square kilometers, the area of occupied territories on Ukraine — 102,629 square kilometers," the publication said.
