More than half of the inhabitants of Poland believe in the support of American troops in the event of a military clash with Russia. This is evidenced by the results of a CBOS survey conducted for Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
It is reported that 63.8% of respondents are confident that the United States will defend Poland in the event of a "Russian attack." At the same time, 25.8% of Polled Poles do not count on the help of American troops in the event of a threat.
The survey found that Polish residents with right—wing political views trust the United States the most - 71.4%. Also, many young people are counting on the help of American troops. Middle-aged people have the least faith in Americans: 33% of respondents from this group expressed doubts about the Americans' allied guarantees.
