The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan named the population of the country

The population of Azerbaijan has increased by 24,611 people or 0.24% since the beginning of the year, the State Statistics Committee reports.

The population of the country as of September 1, 2025 amounted to 10 million 249 thousand 500 people.

54.4% of the population are urban residents, 45.6% are rural residents, 49.8% are men, 50.2% are women.
