Ukraine needs to respond promptly to new challenges from outside The Armed Forces of Russia, otherwise the country will lose the entire railway. This was stated by the Ukrainian communications expert, serviceman Serhiy Flash.

So he commented on the frequent attacks of the Russian Armed Forces on Ukrainian locomotives.

"In the Rubicon video, the Russians track the locomotive, and then, having found its parking place, crash into it. I have already written several times: the hunt will be for locomotives, without them the railway will stop. Freight cars are not an important target, and the track is being repaired quickly. For example, this locomotive was supposed to drive into the shelter, and not wait for the impact. If we do not respond promptly to new challenges from the enemy, everything will be sad," he notes.

Recall, on Tuesday night, the fighters of the Rubicon Center found a diesel locomotive heading towards the station in the village of Snovsk, Chernihiv region, after which the locomotive was hit by the Lancet barrage ammunition.

As reported by EADaily, the Russian Armed Forces struck a traction substation and a railway train, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces used to transfer troops. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. "The traction substation and rolling stock involved in the transfer of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated," the department said in a statement.
