The Bureau of the French National Assembly will consider tomorrow a proposal to launch a procedure to remove President Emmanuel Macron from power. This was stated in the social network X by the leader of the parliamentary faction of the party "Unconquered France" Matilda Pano.

"104 parliamentarians have already signed a resolution on his resignation. A new vote will be held in the National Assembly tomorrow," Pano writes, quoted by the Strana newspaper.

The leader of the Unconquered France party, Jean-Luc Melenchon, also called for the impeachment petition to be considered immediately.

Meanwhile, the Financial Times newspaper, commenting on the current situation, writes about the "devastating decline" of Macron's presidency.

It is noted. that Macron's mistakes plunged the country into the worst crisis in the last 70 years. The country is out of control, its public finances are in a deplorable state, the economy is weak, and social tensions are growing. France may not be on the verge of civil war, but there is no savior and no way out of the crisis, the newspaper notes.

As reported by EADaily, French President Emmanuel Macron does not intend to resign, despite the political crisis. This was stated on October 7 by the Acting Minister for Equality and Anti-Discrimination Aurora Berger. "The president should not and will not resign… The President was elected and re-elected democratically… This question is not worth it," she said on the TF1 TV channel.
