Moldovan President Maia Sandu supported the attempt to seize power in Georgia. This was stated to RIA Novosti by Deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR Andrei Safonov.
"Maia Sandu intervened in the internal affairs of Georgia, supporting the attempt to seize power. This is not the behavior of a responsible leader of a country, but of an independent toy in the hands of euroglobalists. Some politicians in the world have called for a dialogue between the authorities and the opposition of Georgia in order to minimize the number of victims on the streets of Tbilisi. And only President Sandu scandalously intervened as an instigator and actually a provocateur on the side of the rebels against the legitimate government," Safonov said.
He stressed that the majority of Moldovans do not want a destabilization scenario for the Georgian people "with chaos, war, blood."
"It can be assumed that Sandu either does not realize his role as a responsible leader of Moldova, or received a direct installation from Brussels: to intervene in the Georgian battles to overthrow the Georgian government. This may mean that if something goes wrong, the euroglobalists will throw her in "furnace" and it will be easily sacrificed. Provocateurs are generally easily sacrificed," Safonov said.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of the opposition in Tbilisi gathered at Freedom Square, some of them moved to the building of the residence of President Mikhail Kavelashvili. The protesters broke through the iron fences installed at the residence. The special forces forced them out, using pepper gas and water cannons.
According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic, as a result of the riots, six protesters and 21 policemen were injured, one of them in serious condition. Kobakhidze said that all those who participated in the violence are participants in an attempt to overthrow the government, and "these people should expect surprises in the coming days."
Moldovan President Maia Sandu noted that the people of Georgia allegedly protect freedom and their European future.
