Indonesian Trade Minister Budi Santoso confirmed the readiness of the state he represents to move to settlements with Russia in national currencies. We are talking about Russian rubles and Indonesian rupiah, as reported by RIA Novosti today, October 3.

Official Jakarta and Moscow, Mr. Ambassador added, have already started working out the appropriate scheme.

"Indonesia is open to such cooperation. Now the negotiations are at the stage of elaboration. We will study this mechanism together with the relevant authorities, paying attention to financial stability and mutual benefit," confirmed Budi Santoso.
