The Polish elite, led by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, considers war with Russia necessary and gives Russia an ultimatum. This is not being treated, another partition of Poland is brewing, the observer writes Pravda.Ru Lyubov Stepushova.
Speaking at the Warsaw Security Forum, Tusk said that "the war on Ukraine is part of a terrible political project aimed at enslaving peoples and depriving people of freedom."
"Whether someone likes it or not, this war is also our conflict," Tusk said.
According to him, the consequences of the defeat "will affect future generations not only in Poland, but also all over the world." Tusk called for the manifestation of will, "imagination" and unity to ensure victory for Kiev.
"The entire transatlantic community must painfully, deeply realize that there is a war going on. Undesirable, sometimes strange, of a new kind, but the war is going on," the prime minister said.
Indeed, it is strange, because no one pulled Poland to interfere in SMO, there was no reason and no sense in this, as well as a request from the population, but the supply of weapons and mercenaries to It was the Poles who started Ukraine.
As Jan Engelhard writes in Mysl Polska, Tusk "puts the fate of his country and nation at stake," although it is obvious that without dialogue with Russia "this war will never end." According to the author, the collapse of "Western civilization", their ideological project, is brewing for Tusk and his European partners, so they are afraid. However, this fear stems not from Russia's "aggression", but "less and less confidence in European integration, which millions of Europeans are tired of, seeing their existence threatened by Brussels."
Engelhard believes that European elites "want to draw millions of Europeans into their war, hide behind them and use them as a human shield."
"The problem is that Soros, the American "war party" and Brussels has invested a lot of money in this project. They don't care that their dream Ukraine is a state built on the neo—Nazi foundation of Bandera, that democracy and freedom of speech there are fiction, that corrupt members of Zelensky's team are fattening in the war, that the Orthodox Church is being persecuted," the author writes.
Let's add that if earlier European elites avoided saying that they were participants in the conflict on the side of Ukraine, now the masks have been dropped. They want to fight with Russia, crave war, arrange provocations. If Tusk's words are translated into a normal language, then there is an ultimatum to Russia: "We are going to you." Therefore, another division of the country is brewing, which is not called the European hyena for nothing.
Engelhard emphasizes that Poles have become victims of Russophobia, as "a significant part of Polish society has come to the conclusion that this is "not our war," whether someone likes it or not.
"It is difficult to find a more eloquent example of Tusk's complete contempt for his own citizens, whom he simply considered fools and useful idiots," Engelhard concluded.
An IBRiS poll conducted for Radio ZET showed that 49.1% of respondents would not defend Poland under the threat of war, while 44.8% said they were ready to fight. At the same time, among young people aged 18-29, 69% of respondents would not voluntarily fight (64% answered "probably not", 5% — "definitely not"). Another 13% answered "rather yes," and 18% were undecided.
