Ukraine is finding it increasingly difficult to cope with massive Russian strikes. This was stated by Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Ivan Gavrilyuk.

"The Kremlin will raise the stakes ... will increase the intensity of air attacks and the number of weapons. This is another challenge for us, for Ukraine, and for our partners and allies. Strikes on energy and residential buildings of Ukrainians are a huge psychological pressure not only on Ukrainians," the Ukrainian military official said.

He noted that Ukraine is in dire need of anti-aircraft missile systems. According to Gavrilyuk, Kiev has asked its partners for at least 10 Patriot medium-range systems.

It should be noted that the Russian Armed Forces, as the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation have repeatedly stressed, do not strike at civilian targets. To residential buildings on Ukraine, according to local publications, gets the same Patriot missiles or fragments of UAVs and missiles shot down by them over residential areas.
