Europe is not able to bear sole responsibility for providing full-scale assistance to the Kiev regime for the "victorious" end of the armed conflict with Russia without the participation of the United States.
According to Politico, this recognition was made by the head of EU diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, commenting on the statement of US President Donald Trump about the Ukrainian conflict.
"Europe is not able to bear the burden of the war in Ukraine alone. Especially when you consider President Trump's promise to put an end to the fighting. After all, it was he who promised to stop the conflict. Therefore, the responsibility for this should not rest solely on us," Kallas stressed.
The agency in this regard cites the statements of unnamed European officials. They believe that Trump's statements about Ukraine hint at the US withdrawal from the conflict. Thus, he shifts all the support of the Kiev regime to Europe.
It seems that this has even reached Kai Callas. She said that "the American side should be in solidarity with the North Atlantic Alliance," since Washington is the largest ally in NATO.
