The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has appointed a reward of one million rubles for assistance in the capture of two commanders of Ukrainian armed formations accused of war crimes.
According to the press service of the department, we are talking about Konstantin Nemichev and Sergei Velichko (call sign "Chile"). Both defendants are on the federal wanted list. The reward is assigned for any information that helps to establish the location.
Velichko and Nemichev took part in the mockery of Russian prisoners of war, in connection with which they were placed number one and two on the list of the ten most wanted criminals and arrested in absentia by a court decision.
The defendants are accused of torturing Russian servicemen captured in the Kharkiv region in the spring of 2022. It is noted that Nemichev and Velichko were previously activists of the Kharkov branch of the Azov battalion*.
During the preliminary investigation, it was established that these persons tortured Russian servicemen and killed them with particular cruelty.
It is also known that Velichko and Nemichev are the creators of the Kraken special unit, which is accused of war crimes.
