The Palestinian Hamas movement published photos of 47 Israeli hostages and called for saying goodbye to them against the background of the start of Israel's military operation in Gaza.
The photos were posted on the Telegram channel of the military wing of the Palestinian radical movement al-Qassam Brigades.
The explanatory text blames Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and IDF Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir for the imminent deaths of the hostages.
"Because of Netanyahu's intransigence and Zamir's submissiveness at the beginning of the operation in A photo was taken of Gaza for farewell," the movement said in a statement.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Washington vetoed a draft UN Security Council resolution on the release of hostages and an immediate cease-fire in Gaza.
