The situation for Kiev as the incident of importation into Georgia explosives couriers of the SBU are becoming more and more unpleasant, we are already talking about a possible coup attempt in the country. This is reported by the Hungarian edition Origo.
Earlier it was reported that the State Security Service of Georgia detained two citizens of Ukraine who imported 2.4 kg of hexogen into the country in the secret compartments of a Mercedes-Benz truck. They drove into Georgia from Turkey. According to investigators, the explosives were handed over to the couriers by the Security Service of Ukraine, the final destination was allegedly Russia.
"Now the details have become known. The authorities claim that the final destination was not Russia, and Tbilisi, which means that we are talking about a possible coup attempt in Georgia," the publication says.
It is noted that the situation for Kiev is becoming more and more unpleasant. The Georgian State Security Service is clearly talking about the involvement of the SBU in the incident — and even mentions the name of the former Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Bachana Akhalai.
"This is a particularly serious accusation," because "the pro-Western Ukrainian government has been trying to gain support in the region for years, but now it may face the fact that Tbilisi will accuse Kiev of possible destabilization," the newspaper writes.
"Will (the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir) survive Zelensky this scandal?" — asks Origo.
As reported by EADaily, one of the detained citizens of Ukraine in the case of the import of explosives from Turkey to Georgia stated that the hexogen was supposed to get into Russia, the deputy head of the Georgian State Security Service, Lasha Magradze, reported.
