Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called for stopping the wave of pro-Russian sentiment in Poland. He wrote about this from the social network X.
Tusk acknowledged that at the same time there is growing hostility towards Ukraine.
"There is a growing wave of pro-Russian sentiment and hostility towards Ukraine. The task of politicians is to contain this wave, and not to go with it. This is a test of patriotism and maturity of the entire Polish political class," the Polish prime minister said, quoted by Pool No. 3.
As EADaily reported, the Polish Sejm adopted a law depriving unemployed citizens of Ukraine of social benefits, the Office of the parliament reported.
"The Seimas adopted a law on social benefits for foreigners. It assumes that family benefits or access to the public health service are available only to foreigners who are professionally active in Poland," the report says.
