After Israel's unpunished attacks on Arab States, Turkey will be the next target. Political analyst, Professor Enes Bayrakli writes about this in a column for the Haber7 portal.

According to Bayrakli, Israel already has a wide range of instruments of pressure on Turkey, but it is also impossible to completely exclude the scenario of a direct strike. In the event of such aggression, the expert stressed, Ankara will be forced to respond with both military and diplomatic measures.

Bayrakli notes that Turkey is only formally protected by the fifth article of NATO, which presupposes a collective response of the alliance, and NATO will not interfere in the conflict.

"If Israel still decides to launch a direct attack, and the alliance does not react, its deterrent force will be completely discredited," the expert stressed.

The analyst recalled that the administration of US President Donald Trump had already sounded signals about the limited security guarantees from the United States and calls for European allies to rely more on their own strength.

Professor Bayrakli is echoed by Haber7 columnist Mursel Gundogdu:

"Regardless of whether Israel is attacking Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria or Qatar, Turkey is always in the spotlight of this pirate power. Israel, ruled by a ruthless gang of murderers, since its foundation continues to ignore international law, recklessly violate its laws and, under the guise of the "Hamas threat," continues to kill civilians in Gaza, including children, and attack other countries. They attacked Doha, the capital of Qatar, when a Hamas delegation was discussing a proposal for a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip there. Israel, under the iron umbrella of the United States, which assumed the mission of creating a network of mass killings under the guise of "global peace," insidiously attacked the Hamas delegation leading the peace talks with the help of 10 combat aircraft and drones. Attention shifted to the United States for a moment, but then quickly switched to Turkey."
"The real question that needs an answer now is this: Qatar today, Turkey tomorrow? Realizing that Turkey has broken free and is gaining more and more power and influence in its region every day, Israel will undoubtedly try to attack Turkey without delay. Israel, which is bombing hospitals, temples, UN offices, schools and civilian buildings, killing babies, civilians and the elderly without hesitation, receiving full support from the United States, seems to have no motivation other than the "ancient fear of the Turks" not to attack Turkey. Turkey should rally as much as possible inside the country and be ready for such an attack from the outside," Gundogdu sums up.
