A difficult situation has developed in Belgorod and the Belgorod region due to massive attacks by Ukrainian drones. This was stated on the morning of September 11 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
In the howling Telegram channel, he asked his fellow countrymen to be as attentive as possible to the information that comes from the means of alerting the movement of enemy UAVs.
"Today, unfortunately, we will not be able to allow the operation of large shopping centers. As yesterday, our schools are working in a remote format," the statement says.
It is also noted that if possible, children should stay at home as much as possible. This applies to both schoolchildren and kindergartens.
"The main thing is the safety of you and your loved ones, first of all children. We are attentive to the situation and react based on the information that comes to us," the governor assured.
He also said that a civilian was wounded in a morning raid in Belgorod today. As a result of the detonation of the drone, the man received a mine-explosive injury and shrapnel wounds of the abdomen and arm.
Earlier, EADaily reported that according to the Ministry of Defense, last night the Russian air defense forces shot down 17 enemy UAVs in six regions of Russia.
