The flight on the route London — Bacau (Romania) will be remembered for a long time by almost a hundred passengers. According to media reports, a broken window of the aircraft was found just before takeoff.
The incident occurred at the London airport. The staff noticed a problem with one of the portholes. After about 20 minutes, an engineer came and sealed the window with simple adhesive tape so that the plane could continue flying.
The passengers, obviously concerned, made a scandal and reported that the gluing was done using a roll of ordinary tape. This only increased their fear during the three-hour flight.
But despite the tense moments and doubts about the safety of the aircraft, the aircraft reached its destination without incident. According to experts who commented on this case, the porthole of the aircraft consists of three layers — external (airtight and durable), intermediate (safe) and internal (protection and comfort), and the destruction of the internal does not affect flight safety in any way.
