Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the SCO summit, called Russia a fraternal country. The conversation took place behind closed doors, RIA Novosti clarifies.
Putin said he was glad to have the opportunity to talk with Pashinyan.
"I am very glad to see you and have the opportunity to talk on the sidelines of today's and tomorrow's event. We haven't seen each other for a long time, there are a lot of issues of all kinds, bilateral, regional, international. I hope our meeting with you today... will be useful and informative. I am glad to see you," Putin said, starting the meeting.
"We always have a very busy agenda. I'm sure today's too, it's obvious. I am very glad about the partnership and dialogue that has developed between us ... our personal dialogue, and of course, a very active dialogue between our fraternal countries," Pashinyan said.
