The United Nations is concerned about the increased impact of the Ukrainian conflict on the population of Russia, Miroslav Jenca, Assistant Secretary General of the World Organization, said at a meeting of the Security Council.

"The increasing impact of the conflict on the civilian population of Russia is of concern. We reiterate that all such attacks are a violation of international law," he said.

Encha, on behalf of the UN, condemned such actions and called for them to be stopped immediately.

Last week, the state corporation Rosatom reported that a combat Ukrainian drone was intercepted on the territory of the industrial Smolensk NPP, it detonated when it fell, and several windows in the building of the third power unit of the station were damaged. They noted that the damage was minor, there were no casualties, the incident did not affect the operation of the Smolensk NPP, and the radiation background is normal.

The Ukrainian military daily strikes civilian settlements in the border regions of Russia. Air defense forces shoot down most enemy drones.

In response to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attacks on civilian infrastructure, the Russian military uses high-precision air, sea and ground-based weapons, as well as drones to strike exclusively at military facilities and enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
