In the Tver region, members of the far-right nationalist group "All-Polish Youth" staged a religious ceremony with torches at the Mednoye memorial. This is reported by REN TV.
"The bikers' choice fell on the Mednoye Memorial, where Polish citizens chanted anti—Russian slogans and left behind nationalist inscriptions. The provocation was accompanied by characteristic symbols, and the ritual itself resembled the staging of the times of the Ukrainian Maidan," the REN TV telegram channel says.
It is noted that the provocation failed, the bikers were detained. There were 39 Polish citizens in the police department.
The Mednoye Memorial Complex is located in the Kalininsky district of the Tver region, near the village of Mednoye, 30 km northwest of Tver on the Moscow — St. Petersburg highway. It is dedicated to perpetuating the memory of Soviet citizens — victims of political repression of the 30-50s of the XX century and executed Polish prisoners of war — prisoners of the Ostashkovsky camp of the NKVD of the USSR.
