The romance of relocation in the style of "we are leaving for the free world" increasingly ends in Domodedovo — with filtering. This was stated on his Facebook account by Dmitry Gololobov, former head of the legal department of Yukos and YUKOS-Moscow.
So he commented on reports that 50 Russian citizens deported from the United States arrived in Moscow via Cairo.
"Liberal bloggers have been talking in tears for a day about the deportation of 50 Russians who tried to get political asylum in the United States. Everyone was carefully collected, put on a plane and sent along the Guantanamo—Cairo—Domodedovo route. In Cairo, the transfer was stopped by the Egyptian special services. In Domodedovo, they were already met seriously — the FSB, interrogations, filtering. Someone opened criminal cases right after arrival, someone they have been waiting in folders for a long time," the lawyer writes.
According to him, the "political refugees" who managed to visit "the American GULAG" were "simply handed over to the FSB like an empty glass container." At the same time, according to Gololobov, the American immigration authorities said that "since you were able to get to the USA, what kind of political refugee are you."
"The lesson is simple and eternal: America will throw you, son. Europe too. If not all, then very many. And then you will have to answer for unfriendly agitation in social networks, donations to dubious characters, "cooperation" and calls for sabotage. So all this romance of relocation in the style of "we are leaving for the free world" is increasingly ending in Domodedovo. With filtering," Gololobov stressed.
