During the day of August 27, at least 100 new spots appeared on the Sun. This was reported by the press service of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IKI RAS) in the telegram channel.
"In the main solar active area, No. 4197, some kind of hell has been going on all day. Over the past day, probably at least 100 new spots have appeared here, " the report says.
At the same time, scientists cannot give an explanation of "where this energy goes."
"There has not been a single outbreak here in a day," the press service concluded.
