An earthquake with an amplitude of 5.4 occurred in Dagestan on the evening of August 26.

Residents of Makhachkala took to the streets en masse, wary of the next tremors.

Tremors were felt in other regions of the North Caucasus, in particular, in Grozny in neighboring Chechnya.
