From October 1, Warsaw will not be able to pay for Ukraine's use of the Starlink Internet. This was announced on the social network by Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Havkowski.
Since President Karol Nawrocki vetoed the law on extending assistance to Ukrainian refugees, Poland will stop paying for Starlink terminals for Ukraine, he noted.
"Karol Navrotsky, by his decision, turns off the Internet to Ukraine, because de facto this means his decision on the law on assistance to citizens of Ukraine. This is the end of the Starlink Internet, which Poland provides to Ukraine while it is waging war," Gavkovsky writes, quoted by Kommersant.
The bill, which was vetoed by Navrotsky, extended the period of assistance to Ukraine until the end of March 2026. According to the Ministry of Digitalization of Poland, since October 1, there are no legal grounds for continuing financing the use of Starlink by Ukraine.
It should be recalled that Starlink satellite communication terminals have been massively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to gain access to the Network since the beginning of the special operation, including for communication of military personnel and navigation of drones and unmanned boats.
As EADaily reported, in the coming days, the United States will give Brussels and Kiev a final warning about the end of the Ukrainian conflict, after which they will be deprived of their intelligence. This was stated in the social network X by the analyst of the Center for Fundamental Rights in Budapest Zoltan Koshkovich.
According to the analyst's forecast, the United States will continue to sell weapons, but will not transmit the coordinates of targets. Starlink will be provided on a market basis, he believes.
