Despite the lack of water, electricity and gas in the frontline Kupyansk of the Kharkiv region, many local residents refuse to leave the city. This was stated by the head of the regional military administration Andrei Besedin.
"There are 1,800 people in Kupyansk without water, electricity and gas, and another 870 citizens in critical conditions," Besedin said, quoted by UNIAN.
According to the head of the OVA, the restoration of infrastructure in the city is impossible due to constant shelling by bombs, artillery and drones. At the same time, many, as he emphasized, elderly people still refuse to leave the city.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Zapad group of forces, fighting in the Kupyansk direction, entered the settlement of Sobolevka, Kharkiv region, during offensive operations.
