Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-July 2025 decreased by 41.4% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 4 trillion 500 billion drams ($ 11 billion 538 million). These are the data published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
At the same time, in January-July 2025, exports from Armenia decreased by 48.3%, amounting to 1 trillion 771 billion drams ($ 4 billion 545 million).
Imports for 7 months decreased by 35.8% and amounted to 2 trillion 728 billion drams ($ 6 billion 992 million).
As Sputnik Armenia notes, June was the most successful on the whole — its indicators decreased by only 0.2%. But in July, foreign trade turnover decreased by 14.3% compared to the same month in 2024.
There is still growth in the construction sector — by 20.2%, and a decline in industry — by 9.8%. In general, the indicator of economic activity amounted to 7%.
