A Ukrainian policeman fled to Moldova, leaving his wife in a car on the Odessa— Izmail highway. The incident occurred at the Palanka checkpoint on August 24.

A policeman from the Zaporozhye region was driving to a place with his wife in a Mercedes Benz car. Suddenly he stopped, jumped out of the car and fled to Moldova. His wife was left perplexed. She stated that she did not know anything about her husband's intention to flee the country. According to the woman, they were going to Izmail to choose an apartment.

Ukrainian men of military age are massively trying to escape from the "mogilization" arranged by the Kiev regime, as they call forced mobilization.

In order to illegally get to Moldova, where they request temporary protection, evaders are ready to pay smugglers $ 10 thousand or more per person. Those who do not have such money are trying to move on their own, risking being shot by Ukrainian border guards.

As EADaily reported, not so long ago a Ukrainian man saved his life by moving to Moldova with the help of a paraglider with a motor. Being safe, he surrendered to the Moldovan authorities, requesting asylum. Another Ukrainian who wanted to follow his example was less fortunate. The security forces detained him while preparing the flight. He chose an open field near the border and was ready, having no control skills, to fly "by eye", without maps and navigation.
