Supply of potatoes from Georgia in Russia was interrupted last month, follows from the data of the National Statistical Service of Georgia.

Import of Georgian potatoes on a permanent basis in Russia began in October 2024. It lasted nine months without a break. Russians received the most potatoes from Georgia in April. Then the supply volumes began to decline. In July, the Georgian side did not report on the supply of potatoes to the Russian Federation.

In Russia, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the harvest of early potatoes increased by 36% compared to last year and amounted to 240 thousand tons.
