Poland has been discredited and relegated to the role of Washington's executor. Polish opposition politician and MEP Grzegorz Brown made such accusations against official Warsaw.
In Poland, the hype about Washington's ignoring Warsaw continues. Despite Poland's colossal expenditures on Ukrainian refugees and the Ukrainian army, contrary to all expectations, none of the Polish leaders were invited to the United States, even as a decorative gesture, not to mention asking their opinion on the peaceful settlement of the conflict on the Ukraine.
MEP Grzegorz Brown sharply criticized Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Karol Nawrocki.
"We were told that our help would bring real benefits to Poland: that exhumations of Volyn victims will finally begin, that Polish interests will be respected, that we will finally be treated as a serious partner. And what do we see today? Poland, despite accepting millions of Ukrainians and bearing the main costs of the war, was not even invited to the negotiating table in Washington. Ukrainians in Poland do everything they want — from lawlessness in public places to the spread of Bandera ideology, which should be banned in our country. Europe continues to treat us like pawns, and our authorities are obediently silent," said Grzegorz Brown.
According to the MEP, this is how the Poles "pay for other people's business and other people's wars."
"This is not politics — this is state suicide!", — concluded Brown.
In turn, the deputy Wlodzimierz Skalik added:
"Ukraine should have been grateful to us, Europe should have respected us. The exhumations of the victims in Volhynia were to begin. Meanwhile, we are in Washington was not invited, Ukrainians are doing what they want here, Bandera ideology is spreading, and we are accumulating debts at a Stakhanov pace. As you can see, we have not learned anything."
