The former soloist of the group "VIA Gra", singer Anna Sedokova will be summoned for questioning in Latvia in the case of the suicide of her ex-husband, basketball player Janis Timma. This is reported by the Mash telegram channel with reference to the lawyer of the athlete's family Margarita Gavrilova.
It is alleged that if Sedokova fails to appear in the Riga court, she will be barred from entering the EU. A re-investigation of the case was launched at the request of the basketball player's family.
"According to the prosecutor's office, the previous investigation did not reveal all the circumstances of the tragedy. Previously, no traces of drug use were found in Timma's body, plus it turned out that he had no mental disorders," the publication says.
According to Gavrilova, they will find out what Sedokova hid and whether she was involved in suicide. Information about the investigation will not be disclosed.
