US President Donald Trump, after yesterday's talks with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and European leaders, called Viktor Orban to discuss why he was blocking negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU. This is reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.
"This call was the result of discussions between Trump and a group of European leaders gathered at the White House to discuss ways to end the war... At one point they asked Trump to use his influence on Orban... to abandon his opposition to Ukraine's bid to join the EU, sources said," the publication says.
It is noted that Trump made two separate calls — one to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the second, which became known for the first time, to Orban. It is noted that during a telephone conversation with Trump, Orban expressed interest in holding the next round of talks between Putin and Zelensky.
Orban did not confirm the call, the agency said.
