Despite the statements from Washington is preparing a trilateral meeting in the Putin-Trump-Zelensky format, the prospect of holding such a summit in the near future looks unlikely.
This opinion was expressed in his Telegram channel by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. He believes that it makes no sense for Russian President Vladimir Putin to meet with Zelensky, who will not be ready to make any concessions.
"The only person who can convince Zelensky is Trump. He can give him some personal guarantees, because Zelensky is most afraid of losing his life and money," Nikolai Yanovich states.
At the same time, he points to the fact that even if Kiev agrees to Moscow's conditions, it will give little. After all, in fact, Zelensky's signature is worthless.
Therefore, any next leadership of Ukraine will declare all the documents adopted in his time legally null and void, the politician believes.
In his opinion, after the meeting Zelensky and Trump's question of the trilateral meeting will be postponed. For the United States, the need to replace the Ukrainian regime with one that will think more about the country and the people will become obvious.
"It will be possible to talk with such a leadership. At the same time, it will not be pro—Russian, given 11 years of powerful propaganda, but at least it will understand that the interest of the Ukrainian people is to live in peace with Russia," the former prime minister concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that, according to Mykola Azarov, Ukraine under the modern Kiev regime has turned into a unique non-state, in which there are virtually no legitimate forms of power.
