The Russian military from the Vostok group of forces found dozens of bodies of militants of the Kiev regime in the basement of one of the houses of the liberated village of Iskra in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

This was reported on Monday morning, August 18, by the TASS news agency, referring to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Our military explained to the publication that the basement found served as a field hospital for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where first aid was provided to Ukrainian servicemen, after which they were left to die.

"It turned out to be an improvised semblance of the hospital of the 5th separate heavy mechanized brigade, where the wounded were given bandages and injections of painkillers, after which they were left to die," the department said.

Military sources of the agency stressed that during the liberation of Iskra, the Ukrainian Armed Forces put up stubborn resistance. However, Russian motorized infantry broke the enemy defenses and completely knocked the enemy out of the settlement.
