Master gunsmiths from Ingushetia Khusen Medov* and Khavazh-Bagaudin Aliyev*, who made machine guns for the perpetrators of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, received 500 thousand rubles for their work. Such data of the criminal case is published by TASS.
"In his testimony, Medov* described the process of learning how to convert chilled weapons into combat weapons, as well as the process of making weapons. After the alterations, he made several shots in the courtyard of his house, thereby making sure that the assault rifles were suitable for firing live ammunition. After that, he kept the manufactured weapons in the attic of his house. For the sold weapons, his mother's card, which she did not know about, received about 500 thousand rubles, which he cashed and after a while handed over to Aliyev," the gunsmith's testimony says.
Medov* purchased two chilled Kalashnikov assault rifles through the Avito Internet service, after which he bought another chilled assault rifle through the Berkut mobile application. He bought the fourth machine gun in a hunting shop in Malgobek. In January 2024, Aliyev* turned to him with a request to help convert this weapon into a combat one. According to him, the machines were then planned to be used in criminal conflicts at the Sadovod market in Moscow.
Medov * agreed, and together with Aliyev* they converted the cooled submachine guns into combat ones. Their accomplices smuggled these weapons to Dagestan through caches, and later accomplices of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack delivered it to Moscow.
"On March 22, 2024, Medov* became aware of a terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall from news releases. In one of the plots, they showed a weapon from which terrorists shot visitors, in which Medov * recognized his machine gun, which he sold through a cache," the materials of the interrogation of Medov* say.
After the terrorist attack, Aliyev* left the territory of Russia, he was put on the wanted list. Medov* is among the defendants in the case of the attack on Crocus. Another native of Ingushetia, Dzhabrail Aushev, also passes through his episode*.
