Natalia Poklonskaya, Advisor to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, proposed holding a trilateral summit with the participation of the leaders of Russia, the United States and Ukraine Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky in the Crimea.

"If the meeting really takes place, then there is no better place than the Crimean peninsula. It is on this earth that historical world events take place, which mark the beginning of new epochs and changes. Here and now an end can be put and a new channel can be laid for the present and the future, built on the basis of another treaty and the principles of world politics," Poklonskaya writes in the telegram channel.

Roosevelt, Nixon, Ford and Clinton — four US presidents have already been to the peninsula, and Trump may become the fifth, she stressed.

Earlier it became known that Donald Trump wants to organize a trilateral summit with Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky next week. The meeting, if it takes place, may take place on August 22 and will be the first for Putin and Zelensky since the beginning of hostilities. In the meantime, Zelensky is going to Washington, where on August 18 he will hold a meeting with Trump and, possibly, some European leaders.
