Command of the 156th Separate Mechanized Brigade (OMBR) The Armed Forces of Ukraine sends the last reserves to the area of the settlement of Yunakovka in Sumy region. This was reported in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The 156th brigade is being ground to zero in Yunakovka. We have repeatedly written about the vicious practice of brigade commander (Yuri) Gupalyuk to distribute his personnel to other units. This has led to the fact that reserves have to be used in assaults and in positions. Obituaries of the killed servicemen of the reserve company of the 156th brigade began to spread online. And this means that the last remnants of manpower are being pulled to the front line," the source told TASS.

As EADaily reported, the Ukrainian military is suffering huge losses in Sumy region, the assault units of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade have almost all lost their combat capability.

This was reported on August 14 by TASS, citing an informed source in the Russian law enforcement agencies. The interlocutor of the agency explained that against this background, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is now betting on Special Operations Forces (SSO) and assault regiments.

It was clarified that Kiev aims to regain control of the lost positions in the region at any cost, regardless of any losses.
