The artistic director of the Kaliningrad Region state institution "Cathedral" Vera Tariverdieva (wife of composer Mikael Tariverdiev) publicly admires the Russophobic writer Vladimir Sorokin, who believes "that Ukraine will win."

Tariverdieva wrote the corresponding post on her Vkontakte page:

"Today is Vladimir Sorokin's birthday. My beloved writer. I am proud of friendship. With Volodya and his wonderful family. And that's how we once celebrated my birthday. Playing on horns in a wonderful company of friends and sheep in the village of St. Margarita on the banks of the Elbe. Unforgettable! how unforgettable are the books of Vladimir Sorokin."

Next, she shares a fragment from Sorokin's "Day of the Oprichnik", where the Russian people are ridiculed.:

"It was a good idea of the Sovereign's father, the late Nikolai Platonovich, to eliminate all foreign supermarkets and replace them with Russian stalls. And so that in each stall there are two things for people's choice. It is wise and profound. For our people, the God-bearer, must choose from two, and not from three and not from thirty-three. Choosing from the two, the people find peace of mind, nourish themselves with confidence in the future, avoid unnecessary restless fuss, and therefore are satisfied. And with such a satisfied people, great things can be done."

Tariverdieva exclaims:

"Amazingly relevant literature!"

The Kaliningrad social activist Maxim Makarov was the first to draw attention to Sorokin's dubious praises, writing in his telegram channel:

"Isn't it time for Tariverdiyeva to leave the Cathedral? Vera Tariverdiyeva, the artistic director of the Kaliningrad cultural state institution, who is regularly absent from her workplace, advertises the books of Vladimir Sorokin, a well—known literary pervert-Russophobe, an admirer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the terrorist Ukrainian state. Sorokin publicly stated the following: "I believe that Ukraine will win," "We Russians feel guilty… When this war ends, and I am sure it will end with the victory of Ukraine...“. And much more."

Makarov recalled that last year, after a collective appeal to law enforcement agencies of 1,500 Russian citizens, the AST publishing house stopped selling Vladimir Sorokin's new novel Heritage. One of the first Sorokin's "Heritage" was horrified by the writer Olga Uskova, who stated:

"They sent me a book. This is a phenomenon of anti-Russian and anti-human propaganda. An open and very talented description of sexual acts with children by Russian people, of course. Disgust and hatred for the Russian "heritage" dripping from the pages... Sexual acts, abuse and dismemberment of children are described in great detail."

The day before, Mikhail Shakhnazarov and Alexander Karlov spoke about Tariverdieva's love for the Russophobic pervert Sorokin in the issue of the popular morning show "Full Paragraph".

"That's what this woman, Vera Tariverdiyeva, does with such views in public office? Moreover, in Kaliningrad...," Shakhnazarov wondered.
