Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky in a telephone conversation confirmed that the air strikes of the Russian Armed Forces on the oil depot of the Azerbaijani state-owned company SOCAR on Ukraine and the gas compressor station transporting Azerbaijani gas to the country will not become an obstacle to their cooperation in the energy sector. This was reported by Aliyev's press service.
"During the telephone conversation, the parties discussed Russia's targeted airstrikes on the Azerbaijani oil depot of SOCAR and other facilities of our country on the territory of Ukraine, as well as on the gas transmission station transporting Azerbaijani gas to Ukraine, and expressed confidence that under no circumstances will this lead to the suspension of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the energy sector," the press release says.
As EADaily reported, the Russian Armed Forces attacked the Azerbaijani oil depot of SOCAR in Odessa region. This was reported by RBC — Ukraine with reference to its own sources.
