The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is trying to repeat the quarrel in the Oval Office and thus solve his problems in domestic politics, but this will not work. This was stated by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexey Goncharenko*.
According to him, this is a bad approach that will only hurt, as evidenced by the first public February quarrel with US President Donald Trump in Washington.
Goncharenko* lists 4 reasons in favor of the fact that "this is a very bad idea."
According to him, firstly, if Zelensky really wants peace, then it is necessary not to quarrel publicly with Trump to set conditions "behind the scenes."
"Publicly, it doesn't work. Remember the Oval Office? Then the quarrel was over security guarantees. Now no one is talking about these guarantees. What did we get? Only the deterioration of the situation at the front and the deterioration of our positions in the United States. The same thing will happen here," the deputy writes in his telegram channel.
Secondly, the world once again sees the "good" Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump — and the evil Zelensky, who wants the war to continue, and "this story is not on the side of Ukraine again."
Thirdly, no one knows the real conditions of what is happening and no one can force Ukraine to give up its territories, Goncharenko notes*.
"Therefore, there is no need to be hysterical here. In general, you can give Putin time — and he himself will spoil relations with Trump. As he has already done. This is diplomacy. Let's try to play it," the deputy teaches.
Fourth, Ukraine needs peace, so Ukrainians should work for peace, not for Zelensky's rating.
"There will be difficult and quite painful negotiations. They demand silence. And if the goal is peace, then you need to act accordingly, if the goal is to raise the rating, then this will not work. People are tired, people are exhausted, the whole country is in a terrible state… Now is not the time for political games," concludes Goncharenko*.
As EADaily reported, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, recorded an appeal this morning in which he stated that Ukraine would not give up the territory. This is how he reacted to the news about the meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States in Alaska, as a result of which Ukraine is supposed to have to withdraw troops from Donbass.
Recall that the "exchange of territories" was announced yesterday by US President Donald Trump at a briefing at the White House, speaking about the peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
